Here’s a list of questions to help you navigate what’s what on The Magic Shuttle Bus in beautiful Traverse City!
1Do you offer tours to Traverse City wineries?
Yes! We specialize in winery tours across the Leelanau and Old Mission Peninsulas. Choose from pre-planned routes or create a custom itinerary with your favorite wineries.
2When does the time of service start and end?
The time of service starts when the vehicle arrives at the initial pick up location, and ends when the vehicle arrives at the final drop off location.
3If my group wants to extend our time on the bus what is the additional charge?
The charge would be the hourly rate for the vehicle, and would be paid to the driver at the end of the shuttle.
4Am I allowed to bring food on the bus?
Yes, but only neat foods (such as cheese and crackers)
5Can we consume alcohol on the bus?
Yes, alcohol can be consumed on all of our vehicles, but the alcohol must stay on the vehicle if opened. (cans or bottles are preferred)
6If payment is not made in full, when is the remaining balance due?
The balance is to be paid to the driver at the start of the shuttle, or can be paid prior to the event by credit card over the phone.
7Can we use the shuttle for special events like Cherry Festival?
Absolutely! Our shuttles are a great option for group transportation during Traverse City’s Cherry Festival or other local events.
8How many wineries can we visit in a typical tour?
Depending on the tour you select, groups visit 3-5 wineries during a 5-hour tour, but this can vary based on your preferences and timing. We offer both, private tours (custom destinations) and public join-in tours (pre-set destinations).
9Do you offer airport pickups in Traverse City?
No. We are not an airport shuttle service. We do not provide pickup and drop-off services to Cherry Capital Airport.
10Can I book a shuttle for a day on the sleeping bear dunes?
Definitely! We can provide transportation to Sleeping Bear Dunes or other scenic spots around the Traverse City area.
11Is there a mandatory gratuity?
Yes, we require a minimum 20% gratuity for all tours and events.
