Sean is the founder of the Magic Shuttle Bus, and co-owner with his father Dan. If you call in to schedule a tour or change a booking, chances are, you will talk to this guy! He is a Powered Paramotor Pilot and has his private pilots license! Who knows, Magic Shuttle Bus might take to the air someday…

Dan the man, or Lieutenant Dan, is a seasoned vet when it comes to the tour industry, with over 10 years of well earned experience under his belt. As a co-owner of the MSB with his son Sean, Dan takes care of all of the vehicles in our fleet. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves his animals!

As a skydiver, Erin enjoys Traverse City the most from 10,000 feet! She enjoys staying active through running marathons, traveling to hikes, and training for an Ironman. When she’s not scheduling your tour or on the move, Erin can usually be found reading, thrifting with friends and family, or crocheting with her cat.

A seasoned world traveler and professional chimney sweep, Todd brings a unique blend of experience and charm to every journey, creating a fun and memorable atmosphere as your tour guide and driver. He is a born and raised local, and knows the best spots to see.

Family roots run deep for Rob in this beautiful corner of Michigan. As a driver for The Magic Shuttle Bus, he loves turning every ride into the start of a new friendship. He enjoys sharing the region’s rich history, hidden gems, and unique character with genuine warmth and a personal touch. Rob offers an authentic perspective on what makes this beautiful region so magical. Many guests walk away from the tour already planning their next visit — because once you experience it with Rob, you’ll want to come back again and again.

Referred to as a true renaissance man, Michael has more dad jokes and stories than anyone would ever need! A retired medical computer consultant and college professor now finds that he would much rather drive you around and make sure everyone is having a wonderful time in beautiful Northern Michigan.

Retired after 32 years in K12 education (teacher, coach, and athletic director), Scott loves living in the Grand Traverse Area and all it has to offer with his wife of 34 years. He enjoys spending time with his girls, fishing, watching sports, riding his CanAm, and playing poker. His favorite part about driving for Magic Shuttle Bus is being a part of the special moments in other people’s lives.

Recently retired in 2024, Pete loves to keep his plate full, and this gig is right up his alley. He moved here in 2006, and loves to spend time with his family. He enjoys exploring all that Northern Michigan has to offer and is an avid long-distance hiker. At MSB, Pete is fantastic and makes sure you get the most out of your tour with us!

Gene may be a washed up retired Coast Guard helicopter rescue swimmer, but he still kills it on the mountain bike, at the pickleball courts, and in the gym with his wife and daughter!

When he’s not skydiving or flying planes, he’s behind the wheel as a wine tour driver, sharing great stories and hidden gems along the way. With a love for adventure and a laid-back vibe, Max brings energy and enthusiasm to every tour. He enjoys meeting people and showing them around beautiful northern Michigan!

Neil is a Traverse City native. He enjoys keeping things fun, safe, and stress-free! When he isn’t working, he loves spending time with family, sailing, and camping during the summer months. Neil truly takes pride in being a part of Magic Shuttle Bus and helping groups have an amazing time! Need photos? He has got you covered- he is always happy to take as many as you want. Whether you want him to join in the fun or just be your behind-the-scenes support, he is here to make sure you have a great time and a memorable experience!

Mathew is such a down to Earth guy, knowledgeable about the Northern Michigan area and all that it has to offer. He is a punctual father of 3 who has a list of Dad jokes longer than his dreads!

Jeannie has lived in Northern Michigan for 26 yrs, and also drives for Traverse City Area Public Schools! She is a mom, a wife, and a friendly face who loves sharing her knowledge of the area.

Mike F is passionate about sharing the beauty and charm of Northern Michigan with his clients, creating memorable experiences that set MSB apart from the rest. He and his wife, Sue, have called Suttons Bay home since 1988 and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Outside of work, Mike enjoys making the most of the region’s natural offerings—spending his time boating, hiking, biking, golfing, traveling, and connecting with friends and family while showcasing all that the area has to offer.

Keith—aka “Keefer”—is a philosophical adventurer with a lifelong passion for the outdoors and the freedom it offers. Over the years, he has explored the skies through hang gliding, paragliding, and ultralight flying, and more recently has found his favorite form of outdoor therapy in kiteboarding on Lake Michigan. When he’s not on the water, Keefer enjoys riding his mountain bike along the area’s beautiful single-track trails, embracing both the challenge and the scenery, and he especially cherishes time spent playing with his three young grandchildren.

A northern Michigan native and avid runner, hiker, mountain biker and fisherman, Mike loves everything this area has to offer in all 4 seasons. He’s spent many years as a school bus driver and chauffeur, and enjoys both driving and getting to meet people from different areas and all walks of life. When not driving tours, you’ll find him active all around the state with his wife and 5 kids and their families, supporting local businesses and exploring new places and events.

Jim, a San Diego native, has lived everywhere from New York City and Charleston to spending 20 years in Naples, Florida before settling in his own “summer-winter wonderland.” An outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys ATVing in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. With over 35 years as a professional photographer and more than 1,200 weddings captured, he brings deep experience to his craft. He also loves sharing his city and offering top-notch food recommendations as a true foodie.

Avery recently left the hustle and bustle of city life for a more meaningful adventure in Northern Michigan. When he’s not driving a bus or with his family, he is oil painting the beautiful scenery.
